GPhA's Practical Skills Refresher Course plus Lab (optional)

GPhA’s Practical Skills Refresher Course is a concentrated, four-hour refresher on terminology, measurements, and procedures you’ll need for the practical exam — and in the day-to-day practice of pharmacy in your community.  GPhA's Practical Skills for the Lab is a concentrated, two-hour review and hands-on experience in an actual lab, compounding sample prescriptions and IV orders.  This is only available for attendees who are registered for the Practical Skills Refresher Course and is also at an additional Cost.     

We offer GPhA’s Practical Skills Refresher Course four times a year, in four separate locations, one to three weeks before each Georgia Pharmacy Practical Examination.

If you’re a student pharmacist or a transfer to Georgia, you want this course for review of critical parts of the pharmacy school curriculum.

8:30 am – 9:00 am           Check-in with instructor
9:00 am – 1:00 pm           Practical Skills Refresher with Ashish Advani, PharmD
1:15 pm – 2:00 pm          Lunch (must be registered for Practical Skills for the Lab)
2:00 pm – 4:00 pm          Practical Skills for the Lab with Bryce Carter, PharmD (Optional / Additional registration required)
