Learning Objectives for pharmacists

- Summarize programs available to pharmacists such as DPP and DSMES.
- Discuss workflow strategies for the entire pharmacy team to provide diabetes care to patients.

- List new medications used by Type 2 Diabetic patients including the generic and brand names, strength, dosage forms and routes of administration
- Review steps to assist the pharmacist with record keeping and documentation for diabetes medical care.
